Craft Beer, Food Trucks, And A DJ Set In A Bank Vault: This Weekend!

Once again, Labor Day doesn’t need to mean the end of fun- school maybe be back in session but that’s no excuse not to go out on the weekends and find something fun to do. And sure, there are plenty of museums to check out, but you might as well grab a few brews and enjoy the nice weather while it lasts. We’ll be bidding adieu to summer in style, at this weekend’s ultimate hipster-friendly party. Join us: how many times will you be able to grab an ice cold beer through a bank teller window?!

The LivingSocial Craft Beer and Food Truck Festival is aptly named, and perfectly located in Brooklyn (specifically Fort Greene) at the former Williamsburg Savings Bank. This Friday and Saturday over three sessions, we hope you’ll join us for unlimited beers from more than 25 breweries, including some of our favorites (Ommegang, Lagunitas, and many more). Each attendee will receive what we expect will be an adorable BeerFest mini stein to keep, and we plan of putting this collectible to work in Instagram pictures for a very long time.

If all-you-can-drink beer isn’t enough of a draw, then perhaps the food will tilt the scales- word is that vendors from many of the most popular food trucks in the area will be on hand serving a la carte food options (available for purchase and not included in the ticket price). Plus, Penguin Prison will be amongst those performing in the former bank vault! Backyard games (cornhole?!) and interactive art seal the deal as a perfect Brooklyn activity.

Tickets run $45, and are available throughout today- though we did notice that Saturday tickets appear sold out, leaving Friday’s 6PM session as the only option. We’ll see you at One Hanson Place this weekend, with this adventure from LivingSocial!
