Keurig Takes Over San Francisco
Keurig, makers of our favorite single-cup coffee makers, are coming to the city this month and offering a range of special events. Stay tuned for more Keurig news from us, as we approach the release of the new Starbucks K-cups.
They’re calling it a “city-wide coffee break“, and will be serving up thousands of cups of free coffee towards the end of October. On the 26th-28th, you can head to Justin Herman Plaza at the Embarcadero, and pick up a cup between 7am and 2pm each day. They’ll have several flavors to try (including tea). Keurig will also be at Powell Station from the 18th through the 20th, and in Union Square on the 21st and 22nd. If that wasn’t enough caffeine for you, on the 15th and 16th, runners can get their jolt at the Nike Marathon, and attendees at the Half Moon Festival can enjoy a freshly brewed cuppa as well.
