OVO Wicker: A Watch For All Occasions

One would think that with everyone able to watch time with their cell phones, that there might be less of a need for the traditional wrist watch. Nothing could be farther from the truth when it comes to the higher-end male accessory, one of the only items that a stylish guy can employ for a bit of razzle-dazzle. Of course, they are as much of a fashion and status statement as a way to keep track of the hour.
In a major urban area like New York City, you will find that most business men will not leave home without their watch. It just completes their look. However, with all of us on the run, it is nice to have a watch that can be a bit more. The OVO Wicker Watch is just that timepiece. This great-looking brushed chrome watch looks every bit the part of a dress watch, with its shiny finish and hinged wrist band. However, it is also a sports watch, with its sturdy frame and water resistance to 100 meters. It has the standard side buttons to control the several extra dials on the face for hours minutes and seconds, which make it the Wicker far more expensive than it actually is.

The watch is made from 42mm stainless steel, with a screw down caseback and butterfly clasp. The bracelet consists of six solid removable links, and because they are solid rather than folded they may not give as nice of a fit as other bands. The front of the face is made from sapphire crystal, which is not only beautiful, but also very strong and scratch resistant. It might not offer all of the extras- timers and alarms and backlighting and solar power that electronic models do. But it’s classy, and not too heavy, and it the OVO Wicker makes just the right statement.

Like to have your cake and eat it too? How much would you spend on a classy dress watch that doubles as a sport watch? Probably more than $125, but you do not have to!
