Beer, Bourbon, and BBQ: Mark Your Calendars

We're excited to be in New York- not least for the many incredible events that happen year-round in the area. One that we're particularly looking forward to happens in two weeks, and is the perfect way to ignore winter for a day and enjoy the finer things in life.

The Beer, Bourbon, and BBQ Festival- yes, that's the official name- takes place January 28th at La Venue in Chelsea. Tickets are on sale now, but are going fast, so snap them up while you can. There are a couple of options, as they've divided the day into sessions, offering a lunch (afternoon) or dinner (evening) option for $95 each. You could also go for the "Grand Poobah" all-day access pass for $165. Either way, it's sold out in the past, and is on track to do so shortly this year as well.

We can't wait to check out the menu, which includes 60 beers, 40 bourbons, and plenty of pulled pork, ribs, and brisket. And if that doesn't grab you, how about the live bluegrass bands, a tasting theater with seminars from master brewers and distillers, not to mention chocolate peanut butter bacon cookies! Our New Year's resolutions will likely slip away, as we go whole hog (there will actually be four whole hogs served off the bone at the show). Join us!
