Douro Boys Bring Portuguese Wine To NYC
Plenty of wine growing regions have gotten more than their fair share of attention. Everyone has heard of and tried bottles from Napa, Bordeaux, Argentina, and Spain. But what about other areas that have long had a reputation for great wines, but aren't as well known? For example: Portugal.
Some of the highest rated wines from that country are hitting the road, thanks to the Douro Boys. And on February 2nd, they are taking over the Ace Hotel here in New York City, to share them with us, discuss the industry, and treat attendees to food pairings straight from the award-winning chefs at the hotel restaurant. The Ace Hotel is an amazing spot, and pleasantly easy to access via public transit.
We'll be there- and you should be too. So save the date, and check into tickets, which are going fast. VIP passes include special access from 5:30-6:30PM along with the rest of the evening, and run $95 per person. For $75, you can instead just buy General Admission tickets, and attend from 6:30-8:30.
After all, what better way to spend your Thursday evening than trying some amazing wines?
