Zoe is a linguist, writer, and editor. She spent two years in Beijing at PR Newswire China as an editor where she handled international press releases and business reports. She has written travel reviews for the startup HearPlanet, award applications on behalf of nonprofits, and product reviews for TrulyObscure.

Zoe received her undergrad degree in Chinese Language and Literature from George Washington University in Washington, DC. She later obtained her master's in Cognitive Linguistics from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

She has been a consistent contributor to TrulyObscure and the Truly sites since their inception. Her interests include hiking, camping, climbing, photography, and gadgets of all sorts. She is also a whiz in the kitchen and runs a food and photography blog. She also works part-time as a communications associate for a local nonprofit in Berkeley and has worked as an events coordinator for a branch of the IEEE.
